Sales and Marketing finally had THAT chat at TMM Lancs

Last week at Fresh HQ, something brilliant happened (again!).

We brought The Marketing Meetup to Chorley. Packed room. Proper conversations. And a panel with Tony Greenwood and Steve Sorah that tackled the age-old question: why can't sales and marketing just get along?

Turns out, they can.

Tony and Steve didn't do the usual song and dance. No corporate waffle about "workflows" or "synergy" (thank god). Instead, they got real about what actually works when these two worlds collide. What came out clearly is alignment. Not the "these are our brand values on the wall but not in person" alignment but really working together to support each other's work. 

Marketing creates the spark. Sales fans the flames. But only when they're actually talking to each other.

The room was buzzing with it. Freelancers comparing notes with in-house teams. Agency folk swapping war stories with business owners. That's the TMM magic right there - bringing Lancashire's marketing community together without the pretence.

Fresh Perspective gave us the space (thanks, Laura and the team). The community gave us the energy. One Bap Baker provided the cookies - OMG, they were special! And everyone left with something useful - whether that was a new contact, a fresh perspective , or just knowing they're not alone in figuring this stuff out.

This is what TMM is about. No egos. No hard sell. Just good people sharing what they know and lifting each other up.
