Steven Cochrane leaves Growth Lancashire

In recent years Growth Lancashire has delivered Boost Business Lancashire, the county’s business growth hub, and successfully bid, and delivered several multi-million pound Regional Growth Fund schemes.

Prior to his appointment at Growth Lancashire, Steven held senior policy roles supporting the Pennine Lancashire local authority partnership.

"The transition to a county wide company provides a vehicle that’s attractive to both government and private investment. I now hope that this helps Lancashire secure a devolution deal with government, and the county goes on to realise its full economic potential."

Growth Lancashire chairman Tim Webber said: “Under Steven’s leadership the Company has undergone significant change, he has successfully brought together a wide range local authorities and business leaders to deliver positive outcomes for the county.” The board of Growth Lancashire has begun the process to recruit a new director.
