seoBusiness New Name

The digital marketing specialist known as eBusiness UK for more than 25 years has unveiled a new look and a new name to better reflect the scope of its services a quarter of a century later.

The Blackburn-based agency which serves a worldwide customer base is now called seoBusiness, underlining its laser focus on its search engine optimisation and related services.

And latest statistics show why this approach has never been more vital: with more than 3.5 billion Google searches every day, more people connect with and buy from businesses they found on search engines than all other online channels combined.

When eBusiness UK began trading in 1998 the digital world looked very different. Google existed, but was still some years off becoming the juggernaut it is today. Nobody had yet connected with their friends via Yahoo, MSN Messenger or WhatsApp, or bought an item online using a PayPal digital wallet. LinkedIn was five years away from launching the networking site for job seekers, and Facebook was another year away from doing the same for university students. YouTube wouldn’t publish its first video until eBusiness UK was eight years old, and the first iPhone would hit the market later still.

As the digital world becomes more encompassing, becoming an ever-larger part of everyday life, what it means to be a digital marketing agency has become less clear.

However the family business values, strategy-led approach to campaigns and delivery of award-winning levels of customer service have remained at the core of seoBusiness.

Company founder and director Kam Kothia explained: “We’re excited to launch our new name, new website and vibrant new look. As we begin this new chapter, looking ahead to the next 25 years, we’re making it abundantly clear what we do. The new name helps people who know us to better understand what we do, and makes it easier for future customers to find us. If you’re looking for world-beating SEO, come to us.”

Kam added: “While the digital world is almost unrecognisable from 25 years ago, we’re still a family-run business dedicated to helping businesses to utilise digital tools to boost their bottom line.

“We’ve got a bigger team, a wider client base and we’ve amassed 25 more years of digital marketing expertise. But we’ve also remained focused on what we do best. SEO is a cost-effective, proven technique that connects businesses with new and old customers, and we’re among the very best at it.”
