Previous Bellway homeowners Mr and Mrs Higson from Bolton found ‘exactly what they were looking for in exactly the location they wanted to be’ with the recent move to their second Bellway home at Barton Quarter on Chorley New Road in Horwich.

Now on part-time childcare duties for four of their grandchildren, the retired couple were keen to move closer to their younger daughter in Horwich and had been unsuccessfully looking at properties for a while.

Currently living at Bellway’s Sandfield Park development in Bolton, they had been very happy with the quality, space and specification of their Bellway home and were reluctant to move to a second hand property that needed renovating or updating.

They were delighted when they heard that Bellway was soon to launch a new residential development in Horwich and immediately got in touch to register their interest in further information about Barton Quarter when it was due for release.

“Having lived in our beautiful, warm and very low maintenance home at Sandfield Park for 13 years we ideally wanted to move to another new build home as we had no desire to start updating a second hand property with new kitchens and bathrooms.

“We just could not believe it when we heard about Barton Quarter; it was exactly what we wanted, exactly where we wanted to be, and we knew that it would be perfect for us.  As soon as the development was released for sale, we got in touch.”

Liaising with Bellway sales advisor Kerry, Mr and Mrs Higson reserved a four bedroom detached Oakwood at Barton Quarter and moved in as soon as the property was ready.  Coincidentally they sold their previous Bellway home to a family who owned a Bellway property on Cotton Meadows and loved it so much they wanted to move to another Bellway home on Sandfield Park.

“We are just delighted with our new home,” said Carolynn, “Having lived in and loved two Bellway homes now, we are very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a fabulous new build property with a great specification.  Kerry has looked after us from start to finish and we have really appreciated all of her help.”

Located off Chorley New Road in Horwich, Barton Quarter is an attractive new residential development with a range of three and four bedroom homes from £229,995 to £276,995.
