Blackburn-based Science in Sport Group (SiS) has secured more than £30m to support the next phase of its growth.
The funding comprises a suite of debt facilities provided by HSBC UK Leveraged Finance and Muzinich & Co.'s MLoan Parallel Lending.
SiS says the facilities will support investment in innovation, international expansion, elite performance partnerships and digital capabilities.
The performance nutrition business supplies products to professional athletes and sports organisations across cycling, running, football and rugby.
Its partnerships include British Cycling, Tottenham Hotspur, Saracens and the British & Irish Lions, while athletes associated with the brand include Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Laura Kenny and Eilish McColgan.
Dan Wright, executive chairman of Science in Sport, said: "We are delighted to have completed this financing and to welcome HSBC and Muzinich as key strategic partners for the next stage of Science in Sport's growth.
"This funding provides a strong platform from which to accelerate our ambitions, invest further in our brands, innovation and capabilities, and continue strengthening our position as a global leader in performance nutrition.
"The confidence HSBC and Muzinich have shown in our business reflects the strength of our strategy, our people and the significant opportunities we see ahead."
Science in Sport supports more than 350 professional teams and institutions globally and supplied products to athletes who won 106 medals at the Paris Olympic Games.
