Sales Geek today marked a pivotal moment in its global expansion, demonstrating that its mission to “Change the Way the World Perceives Sales” is gaining traction across continents.
Two landmark Sales Club events, held in the same week, one in Imphal, North-East India and the other in Glasgow, Scotland, showcased the organisation’s ability to bring business leaders and communities together.
The Sales Geek message that originated in the UK is now unmistakably a movement that is global, spanning all industries and business cultures.
In Imphal, in North-East India, Sales Geek India hosted the first ever Sales Club in the country, delivered by Master Licensee Naranjan Singh.
Supported by partners including Network In Action, the Manipur and Thoubal District Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the All Manipur Entrepreneurs Association (AMEA) and the Association of Manipur Business and Industry (AMBI), the event welcomed 100 entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders.
Designed to introduce the Sales Geek ethos and open dialogue on the role of sales as a force for business vitality, the event centred on a panel discussion titled “Why Sales is the Bloodline for Business?” before delegates then took part in three Sales Geek fun training modules with interactive quizzes and prizes throughout the programme.
Naranjan Singh said: “Our mission resonates deeply here. Changing the way the world perceives sales starts with changing the way communities perceive it.
"The turnout, the enthusiasm and the conversations we sparked demonstrate that the appetite for ethical, modern sales thinking is immense. Delivering the first Sales Club in Imphal is just the beginning, the next one is already set for January 2026.”
The event concluded with extensive networking, creating space for partnership-building and peer connection as a practical demonstration of Sales Geek’s belief that community drives sustainable commercial outcomes.
While the India team was making history, Sales Geek Scotland hosted the largest ever Sales Club at Hampden Park: the Scottish Growth Seminar, with over 200 delegates surpassed the record the same team achieved in June. Held just days after Scotland qualified for the World Cup in the same stadium, the event tapped into the nation’s celebratory energy, blending football-charged momentum with high-impact sales leadership education.
Guest speakers, Ross Anderson and Mike Scott, two leading voices in business, leadership, and performance delivered powerful, practical insights around resilience, growth mindset, and leading through change, setting the tone for an inspiring and action-focused event.
Peter Barclay, director of Sales Geek Scotland, said: “To deliver our biggest Sales Club yet here at Hampden, in the same week Scotland qualified for the World Cup, gave the whole room an incredible lift.
"But a day like this does not happen in isolation. We are genuinely grateful to our speakers and our sponsors for helping us shape something of real value for the business community.
"The spirit in the room today captured exactly what makes Scottish business special.
"People here want to learn, to grow and to help one another progress. You could feel that energy from the moment the doors opened. The scale of today’s event is a reflection of that attitude, and it shows just how ambitious Scotland is about future growth.”
Danny Simpson, managing director of Sales Geek UK, added: “The surge in interest across Scotland reflects something bigger than an event. It’s a shift in how business owners want to learn, lead and sell. With over 200 attendees, Sales Geek Scotland showed what happens when a community unites behind improving their commercial future.
Rachel Wallace, operations partner at BC Technologies said: “I’ve been coming to Sales Club for more than two years and watched it grow from six people in a room to hundreds filling Hampden today.
"What keeps me coming back is the community. You walk in and you’re surrounded by people you trust, people you learn from and people you genuinely want to work with.
"We’ve had transformational support from Sales Geek Scotland through Peter as our part-time sales director, but beyond that it’s the energy, the friendships and the quality of the learning that make these events unmissable. You go home having grown as a professional, not just handed out business cards. It’s become the one event in my month I refuse to miss.”
The seminar was supported by event sponsors: The Federation of Small Businesses (Scotland), The Institute of Directors (Scotland), Mettle by NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Scottish Asian Business Chamber, Scottish Business Network, Scottish Women in Business, Tectonic Night Summit; whose involvement helped deliver an ambitious programme of training, discussion and community-building.
Sales Geek Founder Richard Few, who was in India at the time training the latest generation of Sales Geeks in New Delhi, said: “What we saw this week in both Imphal and Glasgow is the living proof of our mission in action. Sales Geek was founded on the belief that sales, done well, changes lives and economies, and our core values as a business are the engine behind that belief.
"To see hundreds of people on two continents come together and invest their time and energy into our Sales Club shows the scale of what is possible. Our vision to is global, but it is communities like these that make the vision real. This is how we ‘change the way the world perceives sales’, one business community at a time.
