Claims management company Atrium Legal Services is to expand its operation, creating 50 jobs, following a year of successes.
Atrium specialises in industrial disease claims, dealing with a variety of work-related illnesses and injuries such as asbestos problems and RSI.
The company, which is based in the New Hall Hey Business Centre in New Hall Hey Road, Rawtenstall, was founded in 2008 and has grown ten-fold since, currently employing 70.
Atrium’s Chris Evans said: “We have seen amazing growth over the last year. We have more clients than ever which means we needs more advisors.
He said that the company hoped to recruit 99 per cent of the new personnel from Rossendale Bury and Burnley.
In addition, B&M Bargains is to open a 27,000sq ft store in Rawtenstall on September 19, creating a further 30 jobs in the area.
