Burnley Lancashire Based Branding, Web and marketing company Root Fifty-Two Ltd has proudly broken through the £30,000 fundraising mark in support of The Brain Tumour Charity, following its fourth annual Charity Golf Day at Nelson Golf Club on Tuesday 16th September The event raised an incredible £5,243.50, bringing the company’s total donations to £30,027 since 2020.
Kimberley Thompson, director at Root Fifty-Two, said: "This cause is deeply personal to us and reflects in our culture and values.
“My father, Ian, was diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in 2019, and sadly passed away in September 2020. Supporting The Brain Tumour Charity is our way of honouring his memory and helping others affected by this devastating illness.”
Brain tumours can strike anyone, at any age, and often with little warning.
The Brain Tumour Charity works tirelessly to accelerate research, improve treatments, and provide vital support to patients and families.
Kimberley joined the charity as a BRIAN Champion in 2020, committing to raise awareness and funds through initiatives like the annual golf day and the company’s Power of Print campaign.
