Burnley Lancashire Based Branding, Web and marketing company Root Fifty-Two Ltd has proudly broken through the £30,000 fundraising mark in support of The Brain Tumour Charity, following its fourth annual Charity Golf Day at Nelson Golf Club on Tuesday 16th September The event raised an incredible £5,243.50, bringing the company’s total donations to £30,027 since 2020.

Kimberley Thompson, director at Root Fifty-Two, said: "This cause is deeply personal to us and reflects in our culture and values.

“My father, Ian, was diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in 2019, and sadly passed away in September 2020. Supporting The Brain Tumour Charity is our way of honouring his memory and helping others affected by this devastating illness.”

Brain tumours can strike anyone, at any age, and often with little warning.

The Brain Tumour Charity works tirelessly to accelerate research, improve treatments, and provide vital support to patients and families.

Kimberley joined the charity as a BRIAN Champion in 2020, committing to raise awareness and funds through initiatives like the annual golf day and the company’s Power of Print campaign.

Nadia Whitmore, community fundraiser at The Brain Tumour Charity, said: "We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Root Fifty-Two for their fantastic support for the past four years.

"Your fundraising has made a genuine and lasting difference to people affected by a brain tumour, helping us fund world-class research and ensure that families receive the support they need at the toughest times in their lives.

"We simply couldn’t do what we do without partners like you, thank you for everything.”

Root Fifty-Two extends heartfelt thanks to Nelson Golf Club, local businesses, sponsors, and every individual who has supported this journey.

Kimberley said: “Ian would be so proud of what we’ve achieved together.
