Burnley-based branding and marketing agency, Root Fifty-Two, has strengthened its team with two new hires as part of a strategic expansion driven by increased demand for its design, digital and content marketing services.

The agency’s ongoing growth follows a successful period of new client wins and expanded service offerings.

The most recent addition to the team is Carlota Bevia, who joins as a Copywriter bringing with her a wealth of experience in content marketing and a talent for crafting brand stories.

Originally from Spain, Carlota is excited to join Root Fifty-Two having worked in a freelance capacity since graduating university.

She said: “It’s so refreshing to work in such a welcoming, vibrant office after years of freelancing, which could feel quite isolating at times. It’s been a breath of fresh air to collaborate with such talented and supportive colleagues."

Paul Cooper, who joined the agency at the end of 2024, has over 10 years of experience in social media, digital marketing and PR, across the public and private sectors.

Having started his career through a pioneering digital apprenticeship at The Juice Academy in Manchester, Paul is already enhancing Root Fifty-Two’s digital strategies.

He said: “It’s exciting to work with such a creative team and help our clients grow their presence."

The new additions to the team underscore Root Fifty Two’s commitment to client success through continued investment in creative talent and expansion of its services.

The agency has seen significant growth over the past 12 months with growing demand for its branding, web design and digital marketing services, attracting both regional and national clients including Terraplas, Nviron and PCCU.

Managing director Kimberley Thompson said: “Our success is built on the incredible work of our team, and it’s fantastic to see our continued growth in both new client wins, and service expansion.

"Bringing in new talent like Carlota and Paul allows us to keep pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation, ensuring that we deliver even more value to our clients as we move forward.”
