Roadshow Promotions: Improving education in communities with mobile outreach buses

Lancashire-based Roadshow Promotions has partnered with public and private sector organisations to create innovative mobile learning environments that bring education and training directly to communities.

Their expertly converted single and double-decker buses provide engaging, accessible spaces for learning; whether it's enhancing numeracy skills or delivering professional training. By working with organisations across the country, they ensure that essential education services reach those who need them most through bus conversions designed to educate, inspire, and connect.

Engaging Different Communities with Outreach Buses

Roadshow Promotions has successfully collaborated with both public and private sector organisations to deliver custom-designed buses that make education and training more accessible.

These outreach buses have proven to be hugely successful in engaging both the community and specialist professionals, by offering an interactive and immersive learning experience. Below are some standout projects where Roadshow Promotions has provided an outreach bus:

Multiply: Making Maths Fun and Accessible

Multiply, is a government-funded scheme that provides councils with funding to develop numeracy skills within communities. Roadshow Promotions supported this initiative by providing a bespoke branded double-decker bus for Stoke-on-Trent College and Stoke-on-Trent Council.

The bus interior was transformed into an interactive learning hub where visitors engaged in fun-based activities, received practical numeracy tips, and participated in problem-solving exercises.

Similarly, private sector organisation, Runway Training, hired one of the modular double-decker buses for several of their Multiply educational campaign tours. The community outreach bus likewise allowed adults to develop essential numeracy skills and was tailored to fit the specific needs of the tour with external and internal branding, a seating layout to aid learning, as well as a hospitality and kitchen area to provide refreshments for all those who stepped aboard.

MedTech Innovations: Training Healthcare Professionals on the Move

In partnership with Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson MedTech company, Roadshow Promotions designed a bespoke double-decker training bus to bring the latest surgical technologies to hospital trusts across the UK.

Onboard, the bus featured a range of innovative surgical tools, and featured three state-of-the-art surgical demonstration stations, complete with anatomical mannequins for hands-on training.

To enhance the learning experience, the bus was equipped with nine interactive information screens, a dedicated meeting space, and a full internal and external sound system.

This allowed clinicians and clinical support workers to easily engage with new products and techniques right outside their workplace, improving accessibility and efficiency in medical training.

Seamless Logistics for Maximum Impact

Beyond providing high-quality educational buses, Roadshow Promotions manages all the logistics of each tour.

Routes are carefully planned to ensure educational campaigns stop at key locations such as town centres, supermarket car parks, and other high-footfall areas, maximising community engagement. Roadshow Promotions also provides a dedicated driver for the duration of the campaign, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Making a Difference, One Bus at a Time

Roadshow Promotions is committed to making education accessible to everyone. Their educational buses serve as a powerful demonstration of this commitment, bringing training opportunities directly to the people who need them most.

By helping to bridge gaps in learning and professional development, they are ensuring that communities across the UK have the resources and support to thrive.
