Red Rose Awards earns national title

The Red Rose Awards has been named the best B2B awards event of 2014.

The Lancashire Business View and IMG_20141202_225119Fettle Events run ceremony, which took place at Blackpool's Winter Gardens in March, earned the title at the PPA Connect Awards handed out in Banking Hall, London.

RRA14 saw off some tough competition to take home the trophy, with long-standing music journal NME earning the consumer awards title for its star-studded bash.

Comedian and compere Lucy Porter noted the irony of an awards event winning an award, before sharing that the judges had remarked: "Fast-paced, slick and highly engaging, the event is incredibly well put together, with a great philosophy and a very impressive sponsorship input."

More than 1,100 representatives of Lancashire business celebrated a fantastic 12 months of trading at the fourth annual Red Rose Awards – the biggest to date.

TV and radio personality Graham Liver hosted the event, and awards were handed out across 25 categories.

Lancashire Business View publisher and Red Rose Awards producer Richard Slater said: "I am extremely proud that our team went into London, faced some serious competition, and brought the award home to Lancashire.

"The whole ethos of the Red Rose Awards is to showcase the best of Lancashire business and it is fantastic that such an event should earn a national accolade." The Red Rose Awards 2015 is now open for entries: www.redroseawards.co.uk
