Blackburn College has strong links with the business community – working with over 3,000 employers to provide students with valuable workplace experience. This ensures students are equipped for the future. Nine out of 10 Blackburn College graduates go into employment or further study within six months of completing their studies.

This year the college has received a record number of applications – with a spike in the number of 16-18 apprenticeship applicants and degree level applicants at the University Centre.

The college is number one in England in terms of apprentice success rates, according to the SFA national success rates table for 2014 to 2015 19-23 All Level Apprenticeship Achievement, and currently has over 100 apprenticeship vacancies available.

The college also has a 100 per cent pass rate in over 22 subjects at A-Level. Student Recruitment Events are being held throughout September and October, offering students who are looking to start in January or September 2017 the opportunity to take a look around the facilities and find out more about what the College has to offer. Of course, select places are available for students wishing to join in September 2016.
