December can be a strange month for small businesses.
Some feel rushed to post constantly and “stay relevant”, while others go quiet for fear of adding to the noise.
Neither extreme is helpful - especially when customers are busy, distracted, and getting bombarded by brands trying to shout louder than each other.
The truth is, you don’t need daily content in December for it to be effective. You just need intentional content - the kind that adds value, builds trust, or helps someone make a confident buying decision.
In other words, less “Merry Christmas from us!” and more of what your audience actually needs from you.
A strategic approach that works for product sellers, service providers and personal brands is to use three simple content pillars:
- Value Content
- Connection Content
- Sales with clarity Content
Mix those pillars together, and you’ve got a strong December presence without flooding your feed or burning out before January even starts.
To help business owners put this into practice, I’ve created a short, free guide: The December Social Media Content & Schedule Guide. It includes easy content examples, a posting schedule easy to stick to and prompts you can “steal” straight into your December marketing.
Because staying visible shouldn’t feel chaotic — especially at Christmas.
