Pierce announce third director appointment of 2026

Pierce Business Advisory and Accountancy Group has appointed Fiona Wheeler as Private Client Tax Director, strengthening the firm’s specialist support for individuals and families navigating personal tax and wealth-planning matters.

As a Chartered Tax Adviser and full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), Fiona brings deep expertise across inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax, providing clear guidance, tailored solutions and bespoke advice through complex and often sensitive situations.

Her work spans estate planning, tax compliance and longer-term strategic planning, with a practical and client-focused approach at every stage.

Fiona has built her career advising private clients across well-regarded firms in the North West, progressing through senior roles and leading teams as her responsibilities expanded.

Before joining Pierce, she was a Senior Manager in Private Client Advisory at a Manchester firm, where she supported individuals and families with advisory and compliance work as part of one of the UK’s largest accountancy B Corps.
