Cricket mad family-firm Pendle Hill Properties will bring Christmas cheer to local Year 3 children by presenting them with a special cricket bat and a selection box this December.
Lucky pupils from several Padiham primary schools will receive a bat from East Lancashire’s leading estate and lettings agency, as well as a soft cricket ball, a form to join Padiham Cricket Club and a selection box.
Lettings manager and sales advisor at Pendle Hill Properties, Toby Burrows, currently plays for Padiham CC, a Club founded in 1891 and founder members of the North West Cricket League.
He said: “We are very proud to be running the cricket bat giveaway for a third consecutive year and we are looking forward to seeing so many happy faces receiving their goodies.
“We have run this giveaway in different locations in the past where they have seen a big uptake in new cricket players joining their club and we are hoping for more of the same this year.”
