“The fantastic number of excellent entries shows that despite the pressures of the recession, many Pendle companies are still managing to thrive,” said Councillor Allan Buck who has responsibility for Economic Development and sits on Pendle Vision Board.

Pendle Business Awards 2010 is being jointly organised by Pendle Vision, the economic arm of Pendle Partnership, and Pendle Council.

All shortlisted companies have been invited to attend a dinner at the Arts, Culture and Enterprise (ACE) Centre in Nelson on April 23.
