Pause and reset as 2026 marks the start of a Conscious Revolution according to Celia Gaze

Bolton-based entrepreneur Celia Gaze is leading a Conscious Revolution after taking the TEDx stage to launch Global Conscious Day, a movement encouraging people worldwide to pause and reflect on what truly matters

In an era where life moves at an unprecedented pace, we find ourselves trading genuine connection for convenience and depth for speed.

Our lives, while busy, seem to be shrinking. This is precisely why Celia launched Global Conscious Day - a dedicated moment to pause and engage with the most meaningful questions of our lives: - Am I truly living, working, loving, and celebrating in ways that matter? - Am I genuinely contributing to my community, or simply consuming? - What truly gives my life meaning?

Much like Nyepi, Sabbath, and Yom Kippur, Conscious Day underscores the importance of intentional reflection. However, it stands apart as a secular and inclusive celebration, welcoming everyone, regardless of background.

A Much-Needed Pause for Modern Life

In a world filled with constant interruptions and distractions, Conscious Day invites a collective pause to reflect and reconnect, creating a powerful counterbalance to today’s frenetic pace.

It is universally relevant: Rather than focusing on religious observances, Conscious Day is centred on humanity, prompting each of us to ask the crucial question: Am I living in a manner that truly resonates with my values?

Igniting the Conscious Revolution

This day is about embracing choice -the choice to live with awareness, to align our actions with our core beliefs, and to celebrate with intention rather than expectation. Being invited to deliver a TEDx talk is a significant achievement, both personally and professionally. TEDx is renowned globally for spreading impactful ideas, and this platform amplifies Celia’s voice in a community that values meaningful connections.

Celia's work has garnered local pride, as she became a representative of Lancashire on a global stage. The talk paves the way for the launch of Global Conscious Day, aimed at enhancing mindfulness and empowering women on March 13 2026, individuals around the world can sign up to engage in meaningful reflection and intentional living.

Celia, known for establishing the first B Corp-certified farm in the UK, has dedicated her career to promoting social and environmental responsibility.

Her journey towards creating Conscious Day has been profoundly influenced by her work with the charity One Woman At A Time, which supports women in Africa escaping the horrors of female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced marriages.

After experiencing burnout herself, Celia transformed her challenges into a passion that birthed the Wellbeing Farm - an event venue celebrated for its unique charm, including llamas dressed in bow ties.

Her commitment to empowering women solidified during her visits to Kenya, where she worked alongside Jean Anderson, the founder of One Woman At A Time.

Inspired by her encounters, Celia realised the need for a day dedicated to mindfulness and conscious decision-making.

“The idea for Conscious Day came to me while I was in Kenya helping the charity,” Celia shared. “I realised there was a significant gap for a day dedicated to reflecting on how we live our lives.” Jean Anderson, who has dedicated her life to combating FGM, emphasises the importance of such initiatives. Her charity has successfully protected over 100 girls, providing them with safety, education, and psychological support.

“Through our work, we enable girls to envision brighter futures and attain independence,” she said.

Celia’s message for Global Conscious Day highlights the need for a collective pause in our fast-paced lives.

She said: “In an era where we often sacrifice genuine connection for convenience, this day serves as a reminder to reflect on what truly gives our lives meaning."

Participants in Global Conscious Day are encouraged to ask themselves vital questions: Am I living in ways that matter? Am I contributing to my community?

The day aims to ignite a Conscious Revolution around the world, encouraging everyone to align their actions with their core values.

As part of the launch, Celia recently delivered a TED talk addressing the conscious revolution, a significant platform that amplifies her vision. The event aims to attract attention not only for its empowering mission but also for its charming elements, such as the delightful imagery of llamas in bow ties.

With Global Conscious Day recognised as a pivotal initiative, she hopes to inspire individuals to embrace intentional living and celebrate their lives with purpose.

Mark your calendars for March 13 and join Celia Gaze and the community in this meaningful journey towards mindfulness and empowerment. Together, let’s embark on the path of the Conscious Revolution.
