MySanté, a Lancashire-based app provider of health, wellbeing and discount services, is pleased to announce that it has become the first digital partner of Perci Health, the UK’s first virtual cancer survivorship clinic.

Through this partnership, MySanté will offer its app users access to Perci Health’s personalised content and nurse support, with the option to self-pay to access its broad range of NHS-trained cancer experts for evidence-based cancer care.

Bringing Expert Cancer Care to MySanté App Users

Perci Health provides people living with and beyond cancer, those worried about cancer, or someone caring for a loved one with virtual access to the UK’s broadest network of cancer experts. Through this partnership MySanté users will be connected to over 20 different specialisms, including: cancer nurse specialists, dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, menopause specialist genetic counsellors, and clinical exercise coaches.

The partnership includes:

  • Access to a specialist cancer nurse support line for emotional assistance and guidance.
  • Expert-led articles addressing every facet of life with cancer, accompanied by informative video-based learning programmes.
  • On-demand access to secure virtual clinics with one of the UK’s largest multidisciplinary team of cancer experts through a convenient pay-as-you-go option.

“We are thrilled to partner with Perci Health to bring their valuable cancer support services to our users,” said Paul Nugent, CEO of the MySanté parent – Santé Group.

“With the ratio of cancer incidence being 1 in 2, having Perci Health as a dedicated Cancer Support provider dovetails perfectly with our own commitment to providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare solutions. By offering Perci Health’s services through our app, we can make it easier for people to get the support they need, when and where they need it.”

Addressing the Growing Needs of Cancer Survivors

Due to rapid advances in screening and treatment more people are being diagnosed with cancer, and more people are surviving. Cancer survival rates have more than doubled in the past 50 years and 1 in 3 people living with cancer are now of working age.

This poses a unique challenge for traditional healthcare providers who are not well-equipped to manage the long-term needs of this growing population. Perci Health was created to bridge this gap by providing access to qualified cancer experts who focus on the physical, psychological and practical impacts of cancer.

“We are excited to partner with MySanté to increase the access to specialist care that people need when impacted by cancer, said Nicole Wassink, chief operating officer of Perci Health.

“Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of people living with cancer and their families.”
