Product design and engineering consultancy npd Studio has opened the doors to its new studio at Two Acres in Samlesbury.
It marks 12 years of growth from a kitchen table to a purpose-built creative and engineering space.
The new larger premises include a show room design studio, a dedicated workshop floor and a purpose-built prototyping suite equipped with 25 3D printers.
Nathan Partington, founder and chief executive, said: "Moving to Two Acres is a really significant moment for us.
“We’ve come a long way from where we started, and this studio is built for what we’re doing now and what comes next.”
Around 50 guests attended an opening event including past and present clients and a number of prospective partners.
Current and recent npd projects include complex avionics interface hardware for the BAE Systems Typhoon programme, large scale energy storage with Multisource Power, the Arc Master golf putting performance training aid and Site Pod, a construction welfare unit now trading nationally.
