A newly launched Lancashire business has marked its first quarter of trading by paying thanks to the networking group where the founders met.

Andy Henderson of Forward Thinking and Sarah Clemson of Latitude Marketing celebrated with organiser Karen Tems at The Business Network Central & East Lancashire’s lunch event in June, after launching the new business, Sherpa Navigation for Business, having met and formed a friendship and then business partnership, at the group.

Mr Henderson said: “Sarah and I have joined forces to create a powerful business transformation programme to increase local SMEs’ revenues, profits and customer wins.

“Sherpa Navigation For Business brings together our combined experience of sales, marketing, strategy and planning to deliver improvements across the whole business.

“Imagine a laser-focused actionable pathway to create clarity, confidence and consistent profitable growth. Sherpa is not just a guide, it’s a bespoke interactive process to help leaders reach the next level and start their business transformation immediately.

“We are really grateful to Karen and The Business Network Central & East Lancashire for bringing us together and are looking forward to helping local businesses get to the top of their own mountain, whether that be a financial goal, more freedom, a legacy, less stress and worry, or a more satisfying working week.”

The Business Network Central & East Lancashire is a membership organisation, bringing together business leaders and decisionmakers in a structured lunch-based format that aims to help businesses connect and provide introductions for each other.

Its lunchtime events include an optional morning seminar, delivered by specialists from within the group on a range of topics from business strategy, growth and succession planning to personal development and mental health in the workplace.

Director Karen Tems said: “It’s great to see our members collaborating in such productive ways and just shows the power of networking. Sarah and Andy are already highly successful businesspeople in their own right and so we are sure their coming together this way will be a huge boon for the businesses that they work with, and we wish them every success with such an exciting venture.”
