Burnley based businesses Scope Fire and Security and sister company Scope Electrical Engineering have announced the official opening of their brand new headquarters at 60 Bank Parade, Burnley.

The move represents a significant chapter in the growth of both businesses.

It also coincides with Scope Fire and Security’s sixth birthday, marking six years since the company was founded in 2020 with just two members of staff.

From those humble beginnings, Scope has grown into a thriving group of 30 professionals across both companies, a testament to the dedication of the team and the trust placed in them by clients across the region and beyond, which echoes their strapline of providing Total Trust. Total Protection.

The move to 60 Bank Parade is the physical embodiment of that journey, providing a purpose built home for the business to continue its upward trajectory.

Designed for People and Performance

The new premises is in a stunning Georgian Town House at 60 Bank Parade and has been thoughtfully designed with three clear goals in mind: to deliver greater operational efficiency for customers, to create a welcoming and professional environment for visitors, and to provide a relaxed and well-designed workspace where staff genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.

Scott Chapman, managing director Scope Fire and Security said: “We wanted a space that works harder for everyone, our customers, our visitors and, just as importantly, our team.

"The people who work at Scope are the reason we’ve been able to grow in the way we have. Having a building designed around their wellbeing and comfort, as well as our operational needs, felt like the right way to recognise that.”

Pete Allen, technical director Scope Fire and Security, said: “This new building is a huge milestone for us.

"The extra space will allow us to improve not only our service team but it will increase our capacity for engineer training and remote access work, enabling our team members across both companies to continue to grow and widen their skillsets, which is something we actively encourage."

As the two companies settle into their new home, the Scope team remain focused on building on the strong foundations laid over the past six years.

The past year alone has seen the businesses  welcome 11 new team members and F&S extend its reach to protect 1,631 properties.

Recent additions to the client portfolio include prominent local names Fagan & Whalley and Fort Vale, joining established clients such as Silentnight, Boundary Mill Outlets, Marsden Building Society and the easyHotel chain.

With a reputation built on award-winning service, including recognition at the BIBAs, the Red Rose Awards, and a Highly Commended at the 2024 Burnley Business Awards, both companies are well positioned for the next phase of growth.
