New awards will honour businesses and apprentices
Themis has launched a new awards night designed to celebrate the local business and apprentice community.The Inspire and Achieve Awards will take place at Burnley College on September 5 and are being supported by Lancashire Business View.
The awards being presented on the night include ‘Advanced Apprentice of the Year’, ‘Innovation award’ and ‘Outstanding Commitment to Business Training’.More than 140 employers are expected to attend the event, which will be hosted by Lancashire Business View editor Richard Slater and feature a keynote speaker from international business, Damian Hughes.
Hugh Bramwell, chief executive of Themis says: "We are delighted to be launching the Themis Inspire and Achieve Awards to showcase the very best of Burnley’s apprentice and business community. With our diverse and dynamic range of industries we aim to put the spotlight on a number of stars within local enterprise." Themis is the business training and apprenticeship division of Burnley College.
