New appointments strengthen local firm's customer support

Having celebrated 35 years in business in 2015, Padiham Glass is one of East Lancashire's most successful manufacturers and employs 120 people from the local area.

Our business, which revolves around the manufacture of insulating glass units (IGU), has been built on reputation and referrals and we are proud that some of our customers have been with us for over 20 years!

Recent appointments within the company further prove our commitment to the customer experience and will strengthen the company's ability to fulfill our vision of building relationships with our customers by always exceeding their expectation" and striving to be the best in terms of standards, service, and cost by continuously assessing and improving our processes.

Wayne Marshallsea has joined as our newly appointed office manager and will be responsible for supporting and organising our customer service team in addition to driving improvement to various procedures in the office. Wayne began in the window, door and glass industry when he left school and has worked in all areas from IGU manufacture, customer service and production planning so he has a deep understanding of some of the challenges our customers may face.

We have also appointed Tony Halpin, who is starting with us as commercial estimator and will support our commercial and architectural division which has grown considerably in the last six months or so. With over 30 years experience in glass and related industries, Tony will provide technical support and advice to internal departments within our office as well as to customers and will also be responsible for planning commercial production. Padiham Glass hopes that by making these appointments, we will continue to be one of the leading glass manufacturers, not just in Lancashire, but across the whole of the UK.
