Nelson FC scores a new sponsor

A Pendle energy procurement company has shown real community spirit by scoring a partnership deal with a local football club.

Businesswise Solutions, based in Nelson, has been announced as sponsor of Nelson Football Club for the 2015/16 season.

“We’re always looking for opportunities to support our local community, so when the club approached us, we were more than happy to get involved” said Dean Cockett, director and co-founder at Businesswise Solutions.

“Local football is something I’m really passionate about; there is lots of potential at Nelson FC, and as a business we’re keen to support their ideas and growth plans within the community.”

Nelson Football Club, known to local supporters as ‘The Admirals’, was established in 1881. The club has a long standing reputation and recently embarked on a mission to grow with the help of local businesses.

Adam Keizer, chief executive at the club said: “Having Businesswise Solutions on board is a huge step in the right direction.”

“We’re working hard to promote the club within the community, and their sponsorship is testament to the continued growth and aspirations of everyone involved with Nelson FC.” With a keen interest in developing their youth football, holiday club, street league and academies, Nelson FC has an exciting year ahead; one which Businesswise Solutions are looking forward to being a part of.
