Lancashire Business View’s Red Rose Awards 2026 event helped to raise nearly £6,000 for hospices across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Since launching in 2011, the awards have honoured organisations of all sizes and sectors.
This was the 16th Red Rose Awards, held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool in March and it shone the spotlight on the great and good of Lancashire business.
Lancashire and South Cumbria Hospices Together was the charity partner for the second year running and £5,965 was raised.
Louisa Mayor, head of income generation at Pendleside Hospice, said: “Thank you to Lancashire Business View for choosing Lancashire and South Cumbria Hospices together again as their charity partner, we really appreciate the continued support.
“And a huge thank you to everyone who donated on the night and bought a raffle ticket. We were blown away by the generosity in the room."
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View which runs the Red Rose Awards, said: “Lancashire Business View and the Red Rose Awards community are immensely proud of the incredible generosity shown by businesses in the room.
“Raising nearly £6,000 for Lancashire and South Cumbria Hospices Together is a remarkable achievement that will make a meaningful difference to hospice care across our region.”
More than 25 different awards were handed out and the big winners were Blackpool based VARS Technology who picked up the awards in the AI and Tech Innovation and Medium Business categories while Multevo lifted the Lancashire Business View Award.
