Multiple lettings at south Preston industrial estate

Four new lettings have been agreed at a popular industrial estate in Bamber Bridge, Preston reports Robert Pinkus & Co LLP.

A total of 2,800 sq ft has been let to new tenants at The Old Mill Industrial Estate, a popular South Preston employment location located just off School Lane, Bamber Bridge, leaving just five units available for let on the estate.

850 sq ft at Unit 27 has been let to Crystal Leisure, swimming pool maintenance, service and supplies specialists on a new three year lease. A further 854 sq ft has been at Unit 30 to Pit Bull Motorcycle Assist, a motorbike repair shop on a new 3 year lease.

Unit 35 has been let to The Withnell Brewing Co. on a term of 3 years, Unit 37 has been let to a commercial launderette on a new 3 year lease and a further 850 sq ft unit is under offer. Robert Pinkus & Co. LLP acts on behalf of the landlord St Modwen Developments Ltd.

Mark Harrison, surveyor at Robert Pinkus & Co. said, “A recent refurbishment, flexibility of space and easy rental terms make The Old Mill a popular employment destination for small to mid-sized businesses in the local area. The refurbished units have proved very popular in recent months and we are confident the last few can be let successfully resulting in a fully let estate in the near future.”

The Old Mill Industrial estate is approximately 1.5 miles of junction 29 of the M6 at its intersection with junction 1 of the M65 and junction 9 of the M61. Local amenities are provided within Bamber Bridge town centre which is a quarter of a mile away and Preston city centre is approximately four miles to the north. The multi-let estate comprises 45 industrial units, a combination of the refurbished old mill together with later additions from the 1970s and 1980s. St Mowden Developments Ltd. took ownership of the estate in 2015 and have refurbished and modernised the old stock on site.
