Motionlab shares In FIT show award triumph

Creative design and digital marketing agency Motionlab is celebrating the Fabricator Installer Trade (FIT) Show winning ‘Best Trade Launch Show’ at the AEO Excellence Awards.

Motionlab provided entire creative and marketing for the event, held over three days in April at The International Centre, Telford; the first UK-based exhibition dedicated to glass and glazing for more than five years.

The judging panel recognised the efforts made by Motionlab, in conjunction with the FIT Show organising team, to fashion an inaugural show that demonstrated innovation, long-term potential and enticed an exceptional level of exhibitor and visitor support after attracting in excess of 170 exhibiting companies and close to 6,000 visitors.

The ceremony took place at Old Billingsgate in London, hosted by comedian and TV personality Mark Dolan, where The FIT Show also found itself nominated in the category of ‘Best Use of Social Media’.

Disappointment of missing out on that award soon turned to elation as The FIT Show was pulled out of the gold envelope ahead of six other outstanding entries from both at home and abroad.

Motionlab CEO Simon Iredale was present to collect the award alongside FIT Show co-organiser Paul Godwin. Simon commented: "To win our first award in this sector was a great achievement and testament to the amount of effort we put into marketing The FIT Show. Not only has it been one of Motionlab's most successful projects to date but probably one of the most enjoyable."
