Motionlab selected for franchise recruitment drive

Established franchise consultant Platinum Wave has begun working closely with digital agency Motionlab on delivering full service solutions to their clients beginning with leading white-collar recruitment company Select Appointments.

Possessing over 30 years’ experience in recruitment across a range of sectors, Select currently has 34 franchise territories in place across the UK but has ambitious plans to extend this to 100 and felt this only achievable if they were to revitalise their brand proposition.

Conscious that the recruitment industry is viewed by some for its impersonal and scattergun approach to recruiting and relationship building, Motionlab recognised that the existing messaging of Select’s entire suite of communications required modification.

They established a more personal, conversational and trusting tone of voice to help create an immediate bond and familiarity between franchisor and potential franchisees.

‘The Personal Approach to Franchising and Recruitment’ is the newly introduced supplementary line that now runs underneath Select’s visual identity.

This was also initiated to help demonstrate that Select is a rock solid platform from which to build a successful, strong and independent business and tried and tested franchise model that thoroughly understands the individual needs of its franchisees.

The adage “Pleased to Meet You” will form the basis of all other marketing campaigns employed, accompanied with a leading image of a dynamic business woman making clear eye contact to further stimulate franchisee engagement.

This image will be the face of the initial launch of the rebranding campaign and have prevalence on all marketing communications rolled out including a Motionlab produced exhibition stand recently unveiled at The British & International Franchise Exhibition. All other supporting imagery portrays real-life Select personnel to accentuate trustworthiness.

Dave Ellams, creative director at Motionlab said: “The data supplied to new franchisees is a huge asset to get a franchise territory up and running, but we believe it is the personal communication, advice, experience, training and discovery days which makes Select Franchising an outstanding opportunity. We’ve sought to reflect that in the new branding to entice franchisees and facilitate business growth.”

Motionlab has been working with and providing digital and traditional network marketing solutions to franchise businesses for over three years including Granite Transformations, Business Doctors, Right at Home, Red Flag Alert, Easigrass and Conservatory Outlet, plus a raft of other network and approved installer websites. Platinum Wave managing director Suzie McCafferty said: “Having Motionlab’s fresh pair of creative eyes involved, brought immediate focus on identifying the client's most valuable and differentiating attributes. The new branding much more accurately represents Select’s true personality and business approach, which makes it much easier for us to engage with the right audience and with the right message.”
