Pleasure Beach Resort has launched a recruitment drive to fill more than 100 job vacancies – which includes the chance to work on the park’s newest ride, Aviktas.

There are hundreds of both full and part time roles available to suit varying skillsets and lifestyles, with recruitment taking place across a range of departments as the theme park gears up for an exciting 2026 season.

Successful applicants could find themselves learning how to safely operate some of the UK’s most thrilling rides or working behind the scenes at the resort’s shows and events.

They might be responsible for maintaining the park’s 42 acres, greeting guests, or selling gifts, food, drinks and snacks at one of the many retail or catering units.

Applicants are invited to attend one of two recruitment days, which are taking place on Wednesday January 28 between 2pm and 6pm, and Saturday January 31 between 10am and 4pm.

The majority roles will be filled ahead of Pleasure Beach’s 2026 main season, which begins on Saturday March 7, with Nickelodeon Land opening from February 14 in time for half term.

While the jobs are seasonal, there is opportunity to land permanent work and progress within the company, as well as to take advantage of learning and development opportunities.

It comes after Lancashire Business View reported that the resort had announced it will begin its season early for the second year in a row – as part of a resort-wide commitment to extending the Blackpool season.

The theme park will open Nickelodeon Land throughout February half term (Saturday February 14 until Sunday February 22) and at £25, with tickets costing much less than a standard eTicket.

Sara Boswell, director of HR at Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “With a new ride on the way and a big birthday to celebrate, 2026 will be one of the most exciting times to work here at Pleasure Beach Resort.

“These roles are a chance to gain valuable skills, be part of supportive team, and play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests during a big year.

"Whether someone is looking for flexible seasonal work or hoping to build a longer-term career with us, we have a wide range of opportunities available.”

The recruitment days will be held at WG Beans coffee shop which is located inside Pleasure Beach Resort’s Casino Building, 66 Balmoral Road, FY4 1HR.

There is no need to register, but applicants should bring along a passport or birth certificate on the day, as well as their National Insurance number and bank details.

Flexible shift patterns and both full and part-time positions are available.
