Following a heartfelt handwritten note to Miller Homes’ North West headquarters in Warrington, the builder is delighted to announce its support for St. Michael's Church of England High School's Zambia project.

Year 9 pupil, Abigail reached out to Miller Homes, expressing the school's need for support with the schools ongoing Zambia initiative. The long running project aims to provide clean water facilities, toilet facilities in schools, and aiding underprivileged children living on the streets in Zambia.

Recognising the significance of Abigail's request and the importance of the project, Miller Homes seized the opportunity to contribute. The homebuilder has generously donated a range of essential hygiene products, including toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, sanitary towels, as well as hair bobbles and brushes. These items will accompany the school's trip to Zambia, making a positive start on their mission.

Mr Simon Corner, leader of the venture commented: “We truly appreciate Miller Homes for not only taking the time to read our letter, but then provide generous support to our Zambia project. Their donation of hygiene products is a meaningful contribution that will positively impact the communities we aim to assist.

Clare Noakes, Miller Homes’ Sales Director for the North West, added: “We are deeply moved by Abigail's letter, along with the school’s dedication to making a positive impact in Zambia. One to always support our local schools and their fantastic initiatives where we can, we simply had to get involved.”

Miller Homes are committed to supporting positive community initiatives in the North West, recently supporting St. Thomas CE Primary School in Widnes, after they reached out with concerns about local wildlife, particularly hedgehogs. Miller Homes responded by providing over 30 hedgehog homes to the area.

St. Michael's Church of England High School's is just a stone’s throw from Miller Homes’ upcoming development, Church View in Coppull. Those interested in the new homes can register their interest online.
