Marsden Building Society has been recognised as ‘Employer of the Year’ at the 2026 Red Rose Awards.
Now in its 16th year, the Red Rose Awards honour exceptional businesses across Lancashire. More than 1,000 attendees filled Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Thursday 12 March to celebrate this year’s finalists and award winners.
Marsden Building Society took home the coveted ‘Employer of the Year’ title, sponsored by Warden Construction Ltd. The judges highlighted the Society’s outstanding commitment to its people and the strong culture it’s built throughout the organisation.
Rob Pheasey, chief executive of Marsden Building Society, said: “I’m incredibly proud of all our teams whose dedication made this achievement possible.
"Our people make the Marsden what it is, and this award recognises the culture we’ve worked so hard to build. Our goal is to create an environment where every colleague feels valued and supported, and being named ‘Employer of the Year’ truly reflects this commitment. I couldn’t be prouder of the entire team.”
In their feedback, the judging panel commented that “there’s a lot of great initiatives in the company. We also loved that they backdated their long service awards.”
