Lancashire Investors in Community and Community Foundation Lancashire are very happy to announce the appointment of our new Ambassador, Marc McLoughlin

We are excited to be welcoming Marc to join us alongside co-founder of Lancashire Investors in Community and Ambassador Edwin Booth CBE DL and LIiC Ambassador Ram Gupta BCAe.

Marc said: “I have always been passionate about Lancashire, its people and businesses and have long held a desire to ‘get involved’ in something where I felt I could add some value and make a difference.

"As I began to learn more and CFL and the LIIC and I loved how the foundation is able to touch so many great causes across the county that might not otherwise be able to access finance or raise funds to help them operate – it means I don’t have the difficult decision to choose a single charity to support and having visited two CFL beneficiary charities in Blackpool recently I know I’ve made the right decision.

"As a CFL/LIIC Ambassador I will be supporting Tim and the team to raise awareness about the awesome work they do and the amazing impact the grants and funding have for so many all around the county.

"Businesses can get involved for as little as £1,000pa – it’s a brilliant thing to do and doesn’t cost the earth and it’s a chance to make a difference whilst being part of a network of likeminded businesspeople.

"I’m looking forward together with fellow Ambassadors, Ram and Edwin, and using my personal and business network to help promote CFL and the Lancashire Investors in Community – I can’t wait!”

Marc comes from a family of entrepreneurs and has a passion for helping local businesses flourish.

Originally from Great Harwood, Marc has nearly three decades of experience in the finance and leasing sector including building and then exiting vehicle leasing business KeyFleet in 2022.

Marc is now back to his roots in the Northwest, working with clients directly at Orca Finance, and supporting business growth through innovation and hoping that his extensive network of Lancashire businesspeople will be useful in his role with LiiC.

Marc is a firm believer in a people first approach and that a purpose driven team with lots of support and passion can achieve anything.

Lancashire Investors in Community was co-founded with Edwin Booth CBE DL, when he was High Sheriff of Lancashire to build a community of likeminded businesses supporting Community Foundation’s work at a grass roots level across the county of Lancashire.

For more information of how to support Lancashire Investors in Community and Community Foundation or become a member please feel free to ask Marc or you can contact Timothy Mitchell
