Leading providers of solar PV and renewable energy solutions, Low Carbon Energy, have strengthened their team with the appointment of Holly Lund as Project Co-ordinator / Buyer, who joined the company in December 2024.

Bringing seven years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Holly now plays a key role in ensuring the execution of large-scale commercial solar projects, from resource allocation to procurement and budget management.

She oversees project start dates, ensuring all tasks remain on track while coordinating with project managers to allocate resources efficiently. Holly also maintains project documentation, sources materials and services, monitors inventory levels, and nurtures supplier relationships, all while keeping procurement activities within budget.

Speaking about her decision to join Low Carbon Energy, Holly said: “I was drawn to the opportunity to be part of a team that encourages innovation and collaboration. The camaraderie here has been fantastic. Being quite new to the industry, I’m excited to learn from my colleagues and work together towards common goals.”

Since joining, she has relished the challenge of stepping into a new sector, describing the experience as both daunting and fascinating. “Knowing that the work we do has a positive impact on the fight against climate change is incredibly motivating, as this is an area I’ve been interested in for a long time,” she added.

Holly’s strengths lie in teamwork, organisation, attention to detail, and adaptability. Her ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and remain open to new ideas ensures she is a valuable addition to the team. She recently earned her APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) this year, alongside an Associate Project Manager qualification through an apprenticeship at Burnley College.

The team at Low Carbon Energy are delighted to welcome Holly on board and looks forward to the impact she will make in supporting the company’s mission towards a sustainable future.
