Lancashire firm Linder Myers Solicitors has recently completed on the sale of two buildings in historic Winckley Square in Preston as the local commercial property market shows positive signs of an upturn.

Sold for an undisclosed amount, Lytham based P&S Consulting Engineers has purchased the 2,000 sq ft Georgian property at 31 Winckley Square and Preston based Hazelwells Estate Agents has completed on the adjacent 2,800 sq ft property at number 32.

Raymond Green, commercial property partner at Linder Myers in Preston said: “Winckley Square has historically been a much sought after hotspot with its magnificent Grade II properties and central location making it an ideal spot for business premises.

"The recent transactions signify a positive upturn in the commercial property market in the city and I anticipate further investment in Winckley Square which will return it to its former glory and position as one of Preston’s hidden gems. Many of the buildings in the square have historical significance. Blue plaques adorn some of the properties and suffragette Edith Rigby lived there.” Recently acquiring neighbouring firm Dickson Haslam, Linder Myers delivers a broad range of legal services to both individuals and SME and owner managed businesses. The firm is a member of the Consulegis Group, the international network of over 1,700 lawyers from 150 cities worldwide.
