Showcasing a fantastic team spirit, determination and unwavering trust in each other, a team of 11 members of staff of LCM Environmental conquered the 5K Tough Mudder challenge, completing all 13 obstacles in an impressive 1 hour and 10 minutes.

This remarkable undertaking puts on display not only their impressive dedication to each other but also their enthusiasm for supporting a worthy cause.

The team's participation in the Tough Mudder challenge was part of a fundraising effort for the SSAFA Charity, an organization that provides vital support to serving men and women, veterans, and military families in need.

The initial fundraising target was set at £1,500, but the LCM Environmental team's outstanding efforts exceeded this goal; the team is beyond grateful to everyone who supported the undertaking and took part.

The funds raised through this initiative will directly benefit SSAFA's mission of offering financial, practical, and emotional support to the armed forces community.

This accomplishment reflects not only LCM Environmental's commitment to environmental solutions but also its commitment to social responsibility and charitable support.

Richard Wallace, CEO of LCM Environmental (who was also one of the 11 participants), expressed his pride in the team's remarkable performance, saying: "I am very happy with our team's incredible accomplishment in completing the 5K Tough Mudder challenge. Their dedication, teamwork, and unfaltering spirit not only represent our company's culture and values but also demonstrate the impact we can achieve when we come together with a shared goal.

"Moreover, I'm grateful for the overwhelming support we've received in surpassing our fundraising target for the SSAFA Charity. This achievement not only supports a cause that is close to our hearts, but also strengthens our sense of unity and commitment at LCM Environmental. Our team's determination resonates through our business, and reminds us that challenges can be overcome, and positive change is always within our reach."

How to Support SSAFA Charity: If you would like to contribute to SSAFA Charity and be part of this impactful initiative, you can still donate through LCM Environmental's fundraising page. Your support will help SSAFA continue its vital work in assisting military personnel and their families.
