LANX shoes collaborates with Burnley FC
The Dixon brogue is made from finest leather and locally sourced materials. They feature subtle Burnley FC markings and are available through the club shop.
The shoe is named for Arthur Dixon, a tough-tackling defender who not only played 183 times for Burnley after joining the club in 1900, but who was closely linked with the shoe trade as the son of a cobbler.Marco Vaghetti, who founded his shoe company this summer, said: “Burnley FC asked us to create a style of shoe which would be appropriate for all supporters, whether they are on the terrace, down the pub, or in corporate hospitality.
"LANX specialises in designing business-casual shoes, so the design brief was a challenge we were excited by and thrived on."Production of the Dixon was limited to 100 pairs, and the shoes are now available for £125.
