A team of computer scientists from Lancaster University will team up with designer Jack Irving to create a new display for this year's Blackpool Illuminations.
Jack, whose work to date includes designing costumes for Lady Gaga, partnered with the university team, led by Professor Joe Finney, and won a global competition overseen by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Their winning concept will incorporate deep sea creatures brought to life in a high-tech, interactive projection show on the Promenade close to The Blackpool Tower.
