Lancaster has been announced as one of the 100 towns across the UK to receive support from some of the UK’s biggest brands including Wilko, EE, Greggs, Marks & Spencer and Santander as part of the Business in the Community Healthy High Streets scheme.
The town will receive a bespoke package of support including access to skills and expertise and dedicated High Street Champions from supporting businesses who will help to create an action plan to address specific challenges in the town.
Tom Fyson, Development Manager at Lancaster BID said “We are delighted to be engaged in this programme with a real opportunity to give Lancaster City Centre a boost over the coming year. We look forward to working with partners from our local branches including Boots and Marks & Spencer to bring new ideas to the city.”
