Lancashire spa voted best in UK

Stanley House Hotel and Spa, Mellor, has won a national title at this year’s Good Spa Guide Awards.

The Good Spa Guide is an expert guide to the UK’s finest spas and treatments. Stanley House was awarded the ‘above and beyond ‘accolade, celebrating luxury spas which go the extra mile.

The win follows recommendations by an expert panel of judges who have been anonymously visiting and reviewing spas up and down the country over the last 12 months.

Stanley House, the only venue in Lancashire to receive a national award, impressed the spa spies who said ‘it is ideal for serious spa goers who want a spa that is practically perfect in every way’.

Philip Wharton, general manager at Stanley House Hotel and Spa, received the award on behalf of the team at a ceremony in Stratford-Upon Avon. He commented: “It has always been our aim to offer an experience like no other and so we are thrilled the experts have recognised our high levels of excellence.”
