Lancashire Day 2024 celebration

Final speakers and new patrons have been announced as the business community gets ready to celebrate #Lancashire Day 2026.

Lancashire Business Day is taking place on November 27 at Burnley FC’s Turf Moor stadium between noon and 5pm.

‘Now that’s what I call Lancashire 2025’ is the chart-topping theme as Lancashire Business View brings together its ‘greatest hits’ of the magazine for the year.

New speaker Jenny Rutter will be chatting about her role as chief executive of the British Textile Biennial.

The event has a blockbuster panel of Lancashire success stories featuring Elizabeth Porter chief executive of Brysdales, Derry Green founder of Secret Garden Glamping and Pauline Wild managing partner from Forbes.

Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 campaign shines the spotlight on young business community and Khadija Patel, corporate finance advisor from Pierce, will join a panel of Lancashire’s up and coming talent.

They include Tom Myers from Eco Providers, Ellie Smith from Anthem Engagement and Lucas Thornley from Cortus Advisory.

Smokefree Lancashire is the latest business signing up as a patron for the event.

Victoria Drake, governance quality and performance lead for Smokefree Lancashire, said: “Smokefree Lancashire is really excited to be patrons of this year’s Lancashire Business Day.

“The biggest benefit of Lancashire Business Day is getting to connect and catch up with other local businesses whilst celebrating the county we serve.”

Richard Slater, chairman of Lancashire Business View, said: “Lancashire Business Day is where connections are made.

“Every year, we see collaborations born from conversations in the room - that’s the real power of bringing the county’s business community together.

“Our speakers represent the best Lancashire talent, and their stories will inspire everyone to aim higher.”

Rossendale based marketing agency +24 is the headline sponsor.

Patrons include: Beever and Struthers, part of the Menzies LLP; East Lancashire Learning Group (ELLG) and Vital Synergy.

The charity partner is Lancashire Mind. Vantage Motor Group are a supporter.

There are a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available in association with this event which provided more than 350,000 opportunities to be seen across the 2025 campaign. Contact Joanne Hindley on 07442 949697 or [email protected] for more information.
