Key Group announces senior appointment

Key Group, the Preston-based financial services firm which includes Key, more2life, Key Partnerships and Air Group, has promoted Caroline Righton to director of commercial finance.

Caroline joined the company tens years ago and was previously the head of commercial finance for more2life.  In this role, she oversaw a period of rapid growth for the lender, which also brought on three new funders during this time.

In this newly created role, Caroline will oversee transitional finance for Key Group as well as transitional finance for more2life, in additional to providing commercial finance support for more2life, Key Partnerships and Air Group.

Rob Scott, chief finance officer at Key Group, said: "Caroline has been an integral part of Key Group’s finance department for many years. She has continued to exceed in her role, managed all the commercial challenges which Covid-19 has brought to the business – whilst working from home since March.

"This promotion is truly well deserved and it is a pleasure to welcome Caroline into the senior leadership team. Not only is Caroline taking on this newly created role but she will also be providing maternity support cover for Key’s commercial finance team."
