Innova secures funding for growth
Innova Solutions is to receive funding of more than £70,000 to cover up to 50% of the cost of a new warehouse being developed their current site in Colne. The finance will come from the Rural Development Programme for England, DEFRA and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Established in 2002, the seven-strong team has already seen growth of 100% in recent years, and says this funding will not only ensure sufficient storage to double its £2m turnover in the next three years but will also assist plans for international expansion and further growth within the UK.Linda Barrowclough from Innova Solutions said: "This funding is a result of taking part in the the Growth Accelerator scheme, and with the help of a business coach we established a three year growth plan. This brought up the need for further warehouse capacity and enabled us to seriously research possible grant opportunities. "This funding has come at the right time and is enabling us to develop a purpose-built warehouse on the current site within a four month period."
