Altius Group, the UK’s leading boutique business brokers, has continued its commitment to local good causes with a £4,000 donation to High Five, a Lancashire charity dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and their families.
Built by a team of dedicated volunteers, High Five in Chorley organises play and support groups and activities for children with severe learning and physical disabilities.
Many events are planned for the whole family to enjoy, providing opportunities for disabled children and their siblings to have fun and make friends in a safe and inclusive environment.
The donation from Altius Group continues a fundraising season led by chairman, Paul Miller, pledging £200 per goal scored by Newcastle United FC in 2024/2025 and £250 per goal for 2025/26.
In recent months staff have chosen to support local charities including the North-West Children’s Support Group and Unique Kidz in Morecambe.
Sarah Kiley, High Five Founding Trustee, said: “High Five began because we wanted our children to be part of their community and not watching from the side-lines.
"What started as a few friends coming together to support each other, quickly turned into something special.
“It’s been a really tough year for fundraising and this donation from Altius will allow us to keep creating events, bringing families together in comfort and confidence. We are so thankful, not just for such a generous donation, but also the belief in what we do.”
Paul Miller, Altius Group chairman said: “High Five is an incredible organisation that provides both practical support as well as fun experiences for disabled children and their families. We are delighted to support such an inspiring cause.”
This latest donation underlines Altius Group’s continued mission to invest in the local community, supporting initiatives that have a lasting, positive impact across Lancashire.
