Head of recruitment joins growing company

East Lancashire based Cummins Mellor Recruitment has appointed Helen Jackson as its new head of recruitment.

Having graduated from Durham University in 2009, Helen became a recruitment consultant in the education sector. Since then she has progressed up the career ladder and enjoyed success as a branch manager for a national education recruitment business for the past 2 years.

Managing director Richard Mellor said: “We’re extremely excited to have Helen on board with us as head of recruitment. We are seeing a period of huge growth within the business and are currently 40% up on last year.

"We have created this role due to the great strides the business has made over the last couple of years and Helen is one of seven new members of staff we have employed in the last six months.

"Helen’s proven successes and experience will take us to the next level. We already have a large team of successful Recruiters within the business who are looking forward to working with Helen and implementing new ideas she brings to the company.”

Helen’s main responsibilities will include sales training and development and organising a streamlined process to maximise business potential whilst maintaining their well renowned high quality service to current clients.

Helen added: “Having spent over four and a half years working in the education recruitment sector I found myself seeking a new and exciting opportunity.
