Blackpool based marketing agency, Happy Creative, have announced their contract extension with Blackpool Council, to continue their role as strategic partner until March 2027.
The extension follows a successful tender process, building on an established partnership with the Council’s Business Growth Team. Over recent years, Happy Creative have supported initiatives that have helped drive growth, reduce carbon footprint and re-launch an historic building.
Happy Creative has supported the Council through strategic marketing, storytelling and creative delivery for the Blackpool Net Zero Business Academy and the Blackpool Growth Business Academy. Although these initiatives, and the Shared Prosperity Funding (SPF) has come to an end, their impact is still being felt across the town’s business community.
The agency also played a role in the recent restoration of The Robinson, an award-winning refurbishment project in Blackpool town centre. Their work included developing marketing strategies and creating a new brand identity for the new modern business hub.
In this next chapter, Happy Creative’s role as strategic marketing partner, will focus on delivering a clear, insight-led strategy to drive awareness, engagement and impact. This will include ongoing management of social media, further development of the Blackpool Unlimited website, the creation of content highlighting success stories and case studies as well as email marketing.
The agency will also support the planning and promotion of events and workshops, while working alongside the Business Growth Team to attract businesses to the Enterprise Centre and The Robinson.
Karen Lambert, founder, said “We’re absolutely delighted to be continuing our work with the Business Growth Team. We’ve loved being part of the journey so far, supporting local businesses and helping bring some brilliant projects to life.”
