Story Homes has raised over £26,000 for its charity partners, The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) and North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA), over the course of the 2025/26 financial year.

Staff from Story Homes’ regional offices and sites across Cumbria and Scotland, the North East and North West took part in a range of fundraising activities throughout the year, including charity golf days, bake sales, dress down days and national running events.

The total of more than £26,000 raised will be split equally between the two charities.

The housebuilder says it will continue to support both GNAAS and NWAA for another 12 months, dedicating colleague and company fundraising to the two organisations throughout the 2026/27 financial year.

Hayley Blair, operations director at Story Homes, said: “We are incredibly proud of what our colleagues have achieved this year. Raising over £26,000 for two vital charities is a fantastic effort and a real testament to the dedication and generosity of our teams.

“Both GNAAS and NWAA provide an incredible service across our regions, often responding to life-threatening situations where every second counts. We’re really looking forward to continuing our partnership for another year and building on the brilliant fundraising our colleagues have done so far.”

Natasha Banks, senior corporate relationship manager at GNAAS, said: “We are thrilled with the incredible support Story Homes and their colleagues have shown us throughout 2025/26.

"Every penny raised goes directly towards funding our crew and aircraft so that we can continue to provide life-saving care to those who need us most. It’s wonderful to hear that the partnership will be continuing – we couldn’t do what we do without the support of businesses like Story Homes.”

Chris Andrews, corporate partnership officer at NWAA, added: “Thank you so much to all the team at Story Homes, and everyone who has been involved in raising this incredible amount for our lifesaving work.

"Without businesses like Story Homes and support like this, we would not be able to do what we do.

"We rely entirely on charitable support to bring pre-hospital critical care to the most seriously ill and injured patients across the North West, 365 days a year. It's been a fantastic year working with Story Homes and we're so pleased to be continuing for another 12 months."

Both charities provide vital emergency air response services across the North of England.

GNAAS delivers critical care to thousands of patients every year across more than 8,000 square miles, covering the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

NWAA delivers specialist and enhanced pre-hospital care to the most critically ill and injured patients in the North West, responding to over 3,800 incidents each year.
