Fortidia UK has agreed a partnership deal with utilities broker Utilitrack, aiming to help the group’s franchisees secure competitive energy contracts for their service centres and offices UK-wide.

The first stage of the partnership with Fortidia will see Utilitrack working with franchisees of Mail Boxes Etc., representing over 130 service centres with a total estimated annual energy spend of approximately £230k.

With headquarters in Accrington, Fortidia UK manages the Mail Boxes Etc., PACK & SEND and World Options brands in the UK, providing ecommerce, fulfilment, shipping, virtual office, marketing and print solutions to SMEs and consumers.

Fortidia UK is part of Fortidia Group, which in 2024 reported €1.4bn (approx. £1.22bn) in System-wide Gross Revenue and €22bn (approx. £19.14bn) in Gross Merchandise Value traded through its digital platforms and over 3,130 business solutions centres across 57 countries.

Established 2009, Utilitrack Ltd is a UK-based commercial utility brokerage that negotiates and manages gas, electricity and water contracts for businesses, helping reduce costs and improve contract terms.

With offices in Leeds, Bedford and Newcastle, Utilitrack employs 16 direct staff, supporting a nationwide network of brokers and managers based throughout the UK.

Hani Altalli, Mail Boxes Etc. finance and controlling manager, said: “Fortidia is dedicated to supporting our franchise partners to run successful, growth businesses, in support of their communities and customers nationwide.

“Securing competitive, well-managed energy contracts is another practical way we can ease cost pressures across our network. This partnership with Utilitrack gives our franchisees access to specialist support and clearer, more predictable pricing, so they can focus on serving customers and growing their businesses, reflecting Fortidia’s ongoing commitment to investing in tools and services that help our centres operate efficiently and sustainably.”

Enzo Testa, Utilitrack chief executive said: “Since our formation, we have created excellent partnerships with most of the UK’s utility providers and have worked with organisations in every business sector to help revolutionise their approach towards utility management, consistently delivering exceptional savings and improved operational efficiency.

“Energy suppliers really like how well we treat our customers, which means we can access some of the lowest prices out there for our clients. Through our industry knowledge, we limit contractual and financial risks by avoiding suppliers that we know are unreliable.

“We are now looking forward to working with franchise partners across the Fortidia network to help them reduce their costs and maximise profits.”
