Focus Yards launches to deliver UK’s largest open storage network

Chorley based commercial property firm FI Real Estate Management has launched Focus Yards, a brand-new open storage offering for construction and logistics businesses.

With 400 acres across 38 sites, Focus Yards is now the largest open storage network in the UK, offering secure, flexible, and scalable storage for SMEs. 

With the open storage market becoming increasingly fragmented, Focus Yards is bringing professionalism, consistency and scale to the sector, operating a growing portfolio of sites across the UK and providing businesses with a reliable, nationwide solution. 

Research conducted by Carter Jonas found that demand for open storage has been near-quadrupling since 2020, driven by e-commerce, last-mile delivery and other growth sectors. 

The move to develop an open storage subsidiary tailored to SME businesses represents an expansion of FI Real Estate Management's existing open storage offering, with well-established sister brand, Cuboid Self Storage, operating as a consumer-facing container storage solution across 35 sites in the UK.

Flexible storage available at Focus Yards will be best suited to tradespeople and SMEs operating within industries including construction, plant hire, civil engineering, groundworks, logistics and haulage, and commercial vehicle operations.
