It's the Lancashire Business View social event of the year and it is back later this month.
Lancashire Business Day is our celebration of Lancashire Day with the county's business community, welcoming a host of guests from across the county for great food, entertainment and inspirational stories from our special speakers.
The event at Burnley FC on Friday 27 November will be held in association with Lancashire Ambassadors, while Rosebud, Menzies and Brabners have all signed up to be patrons on the day.
In addition, Lancashire Mind is the event's charity partner.
The Lancashire Ambassadors programme, led by Marketing Lancashire, is a coalition of senior business leaders dedicated to showcasing the county’s strengths nationally and internationally.
Maria Eames Moriarty, head of partnerships at Marketing Lancashire, said: "Lancashire Business Day is a chance to celebrate the people, businesses and organisations that make Lancashire such a fantastic place to live, work and do business. Across the county, there are businesses achieving incredible things every day, whether that's innovating, exporting around the world, creating jobs, supporting communities or helping to shape Lancashire's future. Their success deserves to be recognised and celebrated.
"The Lancashire Ambassadors programme brings together a diverse group of business leaders and organisations who share a genuine passion for Lancashire and a commitment to championing the county. Through their support and investment, our Ambassadors help shine a spotlight on Lancashire's strengths, tell positive stories about the county and encourage others to see Lancashire as a place full of opportunity, ambition and confidence.
"As the organisation that leads the Lancashire Ambassadors programme and champions the annual celebration of Lancashire Day, Marketing Lancashire is proud to support Lancashire Business Day on behalf of our Ambassadors. The day reflects exactly what the programme is designed to achieve: bringing together influential voices to show their support for Lancashire, celebrate business success and ensure that the story of a confident, ambitious and forward-looking Lancashire is heard inside and outside of the county."
Robert White, chief executive of law firm Brabners, said: "Lancashire Day is an opportunity to pause and reflect on everything our remarkable county has to offer. Lancashire's time to shine is now. From major regeneration projects and tourism opportunities such as Eden Morecambe and Blackpool's UK City of Culture bid, to the prospect of devolution, strong sector specialisms and a talented pipeline emerging from our universities and education providers, there is real momentum behind Lancashire's future.
“That momentum is being driven by ambitious businesses in every corner of the county, from the coast to the countryside and in our towns and cities. Through our True North network, we see first hand the value that comes from bringing those businesses together to share ideas, build connections and inspire positive change.
“By championing the organisations helping to shape Lancashire's future, Lancashire Business Day reflects our shared belief that business can be a powerful force for good. We are delighted to be part of the event and to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to making the difference across Lancashire."
Amy King, investment coordinator at Rosebud Business Finance, said: “Rosebud has been supporting Lancashire businesses for 40 years, so being part of Lancashire Business Day means a lot to us. We see first hand the ambition, hard work and determination that goes into building successful businesses across the county, and we're proud to have played a part in so many of their journeys.
“Lancashire has a fantastic business community and we think it's important to celebrate that. Supporting this event is our way of showing our pride in the county, recognising the people behind its businesses and celebrating everything that makes Lancashire such a great place to do business.”
And Helen Binns, partner at business advisory and accountancy firm Menzies, said: "We have worked in Lancashire for many years and have built some great relationships with businesses and organisations across the county. It’s a region we are proud to be part of, and we see every day just how much hard work, ambition and commitment there is within the local business community.
"Lancashire Business Day is a great opportunity to bring people together, celebrate the successes of businesses across the county and create new connections. Supporting the local business community is really important to us at Menzies, and we’re looking forward to being part of the day and celebrating everything Lancashire has to offer."
