FGH Security voted best event security team in the UK
FGH Security has won the Best Event Security Team category at the Security Excellence Awards.FGH had already outperformed its competitors by accumulating the highest number of nominations for any one company and outshining both large national and international organisations in the process.
This is the fourth Security Excellence Award the company has now won and they are quickly emerging as one of the UK’s leading manned security providers. The awards, now in its sixteenth year, aim to recognise best practice in all areas of the fire and security industry. The finalists and eventual winners for each of the thirty two categories are chosen by an independent panel of industry experts who appraise in detail each individual nomination.According to the judges FGH won the award due to “a strong customer service focus, combined with empathy, knowledge and genuine involvement.”
This was a sentiment echoed by Michael Lever, who is one of the event managers for Manchester Pride and one of FGH’s clients: “Peter (FGH Security’s managing director) and his team have provided the security and stewarding provision for Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend for the past two years. The event is one of the UK’s most complex urban events. During this time, their forward thinking approach and engagement with our visitors has yielded positive outcomes. We are delighted to see their hard work and commitment to the security industry recognised.”Wesley Downham, the FGH business director who attended the awards on behalf of the company, explained: “I couldn’t be happier and the award is testament to the standards we hold ourselves to, the measurable difference that we make to the businesses and organisations that we work with and the quality of work that our staff do.
"As always we’re looking to improve even further next year and are looking forward to working with a host of new and existing clients.” FGH Security is one of the UK’s leading manned security providers. It has a range of public and private sector clients which includes Kendal Calling, Revolution Bars, The Albert Hall, TNT and a number of Councils.
