FGH Security voted best event security team in the UK

FGH Security has won the Best Event Security Team category at the Security Excellence Awards.

This is the fourth Security Excellence Award the company has now won and they are quickly emerging as one of the UK’s leading manned security providers. The awards, now in its sixteenth year, aim to recognise best practice in all areas of the fire and security industry. The finalists and eventual winners for each of the thirty two categories are chosen by an independent panel of industry experts who appraise in detail each individual nomination.

This was a sentiment echoed by Michael Lever, who is one of the event managers for Manchester Pride and one of FGH’s clients: “Peter (FGH Security’s managing director) and his team have provided the security and stewarding provision for Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend for the past two years. The event is one of the UK’s most complex urban events. During this time, their forward thinking approach and engagement with our visitors has yielded positive outcomes.
